THE CREW:

Producer: Jeffrey Taylor – Jeffrey successfully worked in major accounting, financial, training and deal-making positions in equipment leasing, banking, commercial real estate, cruises and indie films.  Jeffrey Taylor founded showbiz Management Advisors to provide accounting, tax and finance advice to independent movie makers.

An prolific writer, he has published two textbooks for the equipment leasing industry, “Selling Leasing In A Tough Economy” and “the Future of Equipment Leasing” and an autobiography on his life as a recovering alcoholic, “A Gentleman Drunk.”

His most recent book, “Going from W2 to 1099”, delivers an entertaining account and perspective on starting up a new business.  The book is an excellent resource for corporate professionals who have recently lost their long-time jobs or are ready to give up the daily grind and follow their dreams.  Jeffrey is currently working on his next book entitled, "Film Finance For Beginners".

Writer/Director: David Sebastian Bach – David’s career as a radio/TV personality, singer, songwriter, recording artist, writer, producer and actor spans more than half a century.  He also taught singing and speaking voice for many years. As a concert and cabaret artist based in London, David toured Canada, Europe, the Middle East and South Africa. A long time member of Screen Actors Guild, he has appeared in movies, commercials, and television shows including the TV series “Space 1999” with Barbara Bain and Martin Landau, and wrote and hosted such TV shows as “Teen Talk”, “Kidz Kwiz”, and many radio programs including “Man Talk” and “The Money Factor.”  David’s dinner theater and murder mystery dinner theater productions won Best of Phoenix 5 times.  His latest production, “PAGEANTS CAN BE MURDER”, pokes hilarious fun at the pageant culture, and its many clichés, with a twist of murder mystery.  He says, “doing dinner theater is like…well….coming home.”

Stage Mgr/Costume Designer:  Barb Grant - Having received a degree in Theater from the University of Minnesota, Barbara has worked in academic theater as well as being a professional performer for years.  She had a very successful costume business for 17 years before moving to Las Vegas in 1993 where she returned to the stage as a singer/actor.  Now being a SAG actress, vice president of the NV SAG council, and on  the board of Women in film, she  has returned to her first love, costuming for the Las Vegas Shakespeare Theater before joining the staff of BOTA.

Choreographer:  Lysander Abadia – Lysander has worked behind the scenes and out front of the stage for more than 15 years, choreographing “Snoopy” in LA, “Antigone” in New York, “You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown” and was the lead trainer in “Star Trek: The Experience” in Las Vegas.  He is currently appearing in “The King and I.” Lysander says, “working on “Pageants Can Be Murder” has been a real pleasure, working with such a brilliant cast.”

THE CAST:

Beau Tythe:  George Glass - George has performed all over Las Vegas and is very excited to be in the cast of Pageants Can be Murder.  He is a long time fan of pageants and has actually appeared professionally with Miss America and Miss USA.  He can also count as personal friends a former Miss Wyoming and a former Miss Pennsylvania.  He thanks his friends, his mother and his Boop.

Jorge T. Grande:  Lou DeMeis – Lou, who recently moved here from Atlantic City, has been in “show biz” since the Jurassic Age.  He has appeared in many casino shows, including the Barry Manilow Show, A singer/actor, Lou has done TV and movies, loves Mug Crème Soda and his home town Philadelphia Eagles.  Check out his website at loudemeis.com.

Bambi Jones:  Stacey Nicole – Stacey is the top Marilyn Monroe impersonator in Vegas. She’s best known for her starring role in “The Rat Pack is Back,” which lasted 7 years. Her improv skills and comedic timing are impeccable.  The legend of Marilyn lives!

Svetlana Balugaskya: Kathryn Arianoff is a  performance veteran, with many years of nightclub and lounge work in Las Vegas, Europe, Africa, and Japan. She has headlined as a featured performer in main showrooms in Las Vegas,  including productions of "Tease", "Hats", "Country Tonite!", "Country Fever", "Broadway Off B'Way, "Broadway Cabaret", and "Fierce" in Reno, NV. Film, television, and radio credits round out her resume, and she is happy to  be joining the fun-loving cast of "Pageants Can Be Murder"!

Analize Walker: Emily Lauren Sanders is a physical theater actress and burlesque comedienne. A graduate of the Dell Arte International School of Physical Theater, she specializes in extreme  cuteness, and is most proud of her one-woman show: "Sugar Puppy and the Lovely Dumplings."

Wanda Doolittle:  Sally Stewart – Sally has been a vocalist and musician all her life. Besides live “gigs” she has recorded movie soundtracks, commercial jingles and sang the lead vocals for the film, “Dance to Win” (MGM/UA), and is herself a CBS Recording Artist.  The loves of her life are her four beautiful children.

Ronald Thump:  Sammy Gartner – Sammy is well known as Las Vegas’ Groucho Marx impersonator.  He had extensive training by Second City Improve Comedy.  He says his proudest accomplishment, however, is his son, Zack.

Lucy Doolittle-Sky:  Lynn Steinhurst – Lynn is no stranger to Las Vegas theater. She appeared in “Hats” on the main stage at Harrah’s, in “Tony and Tina’s Wedding” at the Rio and in “Oklahoma” at Spring Mountain Ranch.  She trained in LA and spent a summer in England at BADA.

Alistair McAllister: CJ Mackey is an Actor/Model and aspiring screen play writer. He’s been living in Las  Vegas for the past 7 years and his experiences include: TV, film and commercials. He’s always looking for a challenge  to learn more, which makes him excited about working with this talented cast of “Pageants can be Murder.”
